My Vintage View
Vintage design is my view of classic design in all styles. Vintage makes me think of fine design like fine wine. Everyone has their own definition of what makes a fine wine. What someone else view as a bold red with structure, flavors of cassis and cedar, and usually a kind of austere elegance may just suck the spit out of my palate and cause me to reach for a big glass of water just to get the moisture back in my mouth. It's a matter of personal taste.
Just like wine needs to be paired with the right food, fine design in any style needs the right colors, layout, use of space, etc.,....Just like there are different types of wines and wine regions, there are different types of design styles and their origins. I hope to explore these in my blog in what I see around me and what I have designed in interiors, graphic design, paper arts, clothing...whatever I am inspired by and hopefully will inspire others to imagine and create!
